I was really excited about my green shoes! It took me forever to find just the right ones, I ended up have to get a pair of dyeable ones cause it is impossible to find this shade of green shoes for an affordable price!
I got an idea from somewhere about having my bridesmaids sign the bottom of my shoes with blue sharpie for my "something blue". It turned out to be something really special that I will always treasure! 
And here are mine and Phil's shoes together.
Would you pick green for your wedding shoes?
